Smutty levels become terrible, screen uniformity issues got glaring (flashlighting and vertical banding) and colors (particularly flesh tones) are poor. Watching an episode of American Horror Level was a nightmare. I exchanged this tv for the PN64D8000 plasma and am much happier. The plasma film is not quite as bright, just the off gist seeing and colors are far superior. For me, ameliorate negro layers and color are more important than spectacularly bright whites. The plasma has a far superior picture.
